Two Stars And A Wish

Today we wrote what we were proud of and what we could work on. A star is what we are proud of and a wish is what we could work on. We wrote it on our think books because if you keep doing stuff digitally you will never be able to write. (Wrting is improtant!!)

Swimming S.M.A.R.T Goal

Description:
In the first week of school we started to do swimming. We swim three times a week (three out of five days). When week six comes we have swimming sports so we have been practising for when the day comes.

Big Idea:
The goals I am working on are:

Making sure I make my hands like cups so I can pull through the water so I can go faster. I will achive this goal by counting how long it takes for me to get to the end and then do it again and see if I got faster if I am faster then that means my hands were like cups.

Making sure I don't wiggle my bum or esle I go side ways. I will achive this goal by make my hands in a streamline and also when I reach then end I will look back and see where I started and where I ended out.

My swimming sport goal is to not come last. I will achive this goal by looking back when i reach the end and also when I take a breath I can take a look at the other swmmiers and then I can see if I am last or not.

Recreation Of Stuck On A Escalator

Description:
In class we watched a video of people begin stuck on a escalator and not taking action so they were stuck. We had to recreate a video that represents the video. This Is The Original Movie

Big Idea:
Criteria: (Content)
1. Video - 30 seconds long, time is limited.
2. Scenario - Show someone being stuck and not using the ability to act.
3. Clear Message - Short sharp clip. Can the watcher get the point of your video?
4. Unique - Coming up with something funny that gets a laugh from others.
5. Time Passing - Do you need to show time passing in your clip to emphasise your message.

Criteria: (Movie)
1. Light - Make sure the sun isn’t creating a hard to see clip.
2. Voice Volume - Needs to be louder than other background volume eg Noise, Kids.
3. Frame - What’s in the frame to make your message obvious
4. Steady Hands - Make sure the camera is still.
5. Individual Clips - Don’t do one continuous shot of 30 seconds. Make a range of short clips and join together.

Evaluation:I think that Liam's expression was very realistic and that made it look real. I think that next time we could of had added a thin line instead of a splash to make it look real.

Feedback: I like how you used water as pee
Feedfoward: Next time I think you should show time passing by adding a subtitle.

Number Maths Test

Description:
On the 12th of February we did three math tests. We did stage four then we progressed to stage stage five then six, but we had to get at least 40/50 or 80% to move on.
Here are my tests.

Stage 4

Stage 5

Stage 6
Big Idea:
On stage six we highlighted the ones we got wrong pink, and then we got a chance to prove ourselves. We got a buddy to test us by saying similar questions to the test. (We started on number bonds). We highlighted the ones we got right on the second test yellow.

The goal I am working on right now is: to write word numbers to 10,000,000, including fractions.

My Childhood Memories

Purpose:To Share memories about my childhood.

Descirption:
We wrote a story about our first experiences in our childhood for example: that was my first summer or that was my first winter.

Remember the pure white snow that hit my face as I built the biggest snowball in history? (I'm guessing anyway as it was a big snowball)

Remember the icy cold hail that fell from the heavens, slowy freezing the pond trapping a orange goldfish? (I didn't know it was there until that moment because I never looked😄)

That was my first experience of snow
